A variety of options are available for digital printing depending on the required finish of the project.
Depending on the size of the print run we may suggest our clients consider having their project printed lithographically as above certain quantities lithographic printing can be more cost effective.
Given the versatility of digital printing compared to many of the other print processes on offer at Barnard & Westwood, it is very popular for smaller run, full colour work. Digitally printed pages can then be given an extra element of luxury by introducing other printing techniques such as Foil Blocking, Die Stamping or Blind Embossing.
Our in-house colour digital press comes with a 5th toner option. This gives us the flexibility to print opaque white onto a variety of different materials. This allows us to not only print whites onto darker colours but to also neutralise darker background colours and then overprint the white in full colour for maximum contrast colour crests.
